I came to realize
that I didn’t need to worry about
things that I felt were out of my
control. I felt that I could trust
the support and love of God.

I am a
resident of the Pacific Northwest and live close to
Portland, Oregon. I have been married to my husband Ed,
for 26 years. I am the mother of two children, ages 10
and 13. I look at myself as a work in progress. I am a
curious person and love to learn new things and meet new
people. I am always looking for ways to become a more
loving and compassionate towards myself and others, and
it seems I always have more than enough opportunities to
practice, especially with a teenager. I have done a lot
of service work over the years mostly having to do with
advocating for children, so many of whom don’t have a
voice. As part of my spiritual practice I start every
day with this prayer “Great Spirit let me be a blessing
to someone today.”
How
THOUGHT SHIFTERS™ came to be: A few years ago I made a choice
that I wanted to have a stronger connection with and
faith in God. I went about posting notes all over my
house that read “Remember God.” Every time I saw the
message I would either read it to myself or say it out
loud. After a couple of months I could really feel the
shift in my thinking. My belief system about my higher
power had changed. I began to see God in places and
people that I hadn’t noticed before. I started to feel
grateful for all that I had been given. I became more
relaxed about circumstances in my life with a knowing
that everything had a purpose or a lesson for me. I
started to notice that there seemed to be a
synchronicity to my life. When I asked for help it
showed up. I came to realize that I didn’t need to worry
about things that I felt were out of my control. I felt
that I could trust the support and love of God.
THOUGHT
SHIFTERS™ came in to being the morning my husband and I
had traded cars. When I put the key in the ignition of
the car I looked at the dash board where my husband had
a prayer taped that read “May all beings know peace” and
then I looked up at the windshield and saw the oil
change sticker and had the inspired thought what if that
was my “Remember God” message.
I am most
grateful for my partners Ed, Nena and Mike who I love
working with. The four of us have a lot of fun together.
We have a really great synergy together and our
creativity is fed by our fellowship and connection with
each other. Part of the joy comes from the realization
that our product can help people implement positive
change in their lives and as a result that change has a
rippling effect in relationships, families, and
businesses around the world. |
