I’m so
grateful to be a part of this project. Clear Thought
Systems is the coming together of each of our dreams. We
have each wanted to help people to grow in joy, health,
spirituality, and prosperity, and have each have been
blessed by this work.
These are
the important things I’d like to share with you about
me:
My wife and
I have done lots of service work over the past 15 years-
ranging from Alateen coordinators, to local school
volunteering, youth ministry, and finally to coaching
sports. We’ve worked to help others grow, because we
know that it makes the world a better place for us
personally. Along the way, we have grown as much as the
people we were serving. Most of the time, it was enough
to organize a time and space for others to simply be
themselves.
Originally,
my profession is electrical engineering, with an
emphasis on high speed digital circuitry and simulation-
but I am increasingly passionate about community, music,
and spiritual growth. I love to build electric and
acoustic guitars. That is where time stands still for
me. I love growing in relationship with my wife, raising
our children, and I love knowing the fine people that
our children truly are.
My desire to
learn and grow is a big part of who I have always been.
But growth is also moved by life experiences. At a young
age my older brother’s suicide and my parent’s divorce
taught me very valuable lessons about what is really
important in life, and that as humans we are adaptable,
strong, and deserve lots of love and kindness. Inside
the pain that I felt growing up there was a message. My
spiritual journey isn’t just words and ideas- it is a
way of life for me. For me, spirituality is honoring the
authentic self, and learning how to deeply love the
self, as well as deeply loving others. A big part of the
journey is learning how to love- maybe that is the
shortest way to put it into words.
